Anyone got a suggestion for a good herbal or otherwise non-prescription supplement or something for PMS?

Eating lots of tofu works for me. Tofu contains a lot of phytoestrogens, which is probably why it works.

I'm also on birth control pills for PMS, but have to be very careful about the formula. In particular, I can't tolerate triphasic formulas (with a progesterone spike at the end) at all.

I know there are some things...mostly calming stuff. Chamomille and the like.

I saw you comment in Rivier's journal and came over to check out a fellow Stargate fan. But this plea called to me even though it's from a while ago.

I take evening primrose oil capsules (500 mg) to combat PMS. One a day every day, then four a day when I feel the PMS starting til the end of my period. I've had much lessened symptons since I started this a couple of years ago - less bloating, fewer mood swings, lighter cramps.

I hope it's better next month regardless.
