Aaargh, not another writer!

Just finished reading 'Howl's Moving Castle' by Diana Wynne Jones which, quite frankly, was a writer I'd never heard of before there was a suggestion that Miyazaki was making a movie based on this book as his follow up to 'Spirited Away'.

Damn. What a great book! It's all khek's fault for raving about it over on OS. I can't wait to see what Miyazaki makes of that, though I know they've already said it's only loosely based on the book.

Anyone read any of her other books, like 'Castle in the Air', which is supposedly a sequel?

E.T.A. For a movie that's only loosely based on the book, the characters sure look familiar. ;)

Yeah, I kept getting the Miyazaki movie mixed up with the book in question as well.

I don't know how I've not managed to come across her either, considering how much of a bookworm I am.
