A little something to be going on with...
Jun. 20th, 2010 04:52 pmWhile I sort out my pics of Newfoundland, I thought I'd mention a little game/form of torture that was invented at this year's MW - for this, I blame Dr Sheldon Cooper and his plans for surviving the apocalypse:
"In here you’ll find emergency provisions: 8-day supply of food and water, a crossbow, season 2 of Star Trek – the Original Series on a high-density flash drive."
"What if there’s a disaster that destroys all the usb-ports?"
"Then there’s really no reason to live, is there?"
I happened to mention that quote to
myfieldnotes,
mrwubbles and
penfold_x as part of my attempt to pimp The Big Bang Theory but that I wouldn't have chosen ST:TOS myself and thus a monster was created!
Your mission, should you choose to accept it - the apocalypse is nigh, you can only have one season of a television show of your choice on a high-density flash drive for future entertainment. What do you choose and why? Do you go for a great season of a series that later lost its way (Stargate SG-1, you know I'm looking at you!) or the only season of a show cancelled too soon? Do you need drama or amusement in the bleak days to come?
