Who on earth invented these four-way stop things? Yes, I am actually mobile in Nova Scotia, driving on the wrong side of the road, and actually it's not too bad so far, other than the afore-mentioned four-ways and a tense moment with a railway crossing when the lights and bells clearly didn't mean what I thought it did (though at least I was over-cautious rather than dismissive, which always seems to me to be the best idea where car v. train is concerned...).

No real aim today other than to get some driving experience, which I duly did, checking out my route to the airport for Thursday and also heading off to the provincial wildlife park and onwards to the other side of the peninsula to look at the ludicrous tides. And the consumption of coffee and bagels and donuts and such like.

Note to parents at the wildlife park: you might want to actively discourage your kidlets from kicking the wire of the enclosure where the skunks live, not to mention from yelling at them. This is not likely to have an effect that pleases anyone. I am apparently in the minority because I thought the skunks were hellishly cute.
