graculus: (Snape)

Even reading my friendslist, I'm wondering how much chance I have of remaining unspoiled for Book 7 (which is what I'm going to call it since I can't be bothered typing everything else), but then I remembered that I haven't actually pre-ordered it. And apparently the release date order deadline from Amazon passed at midnight last night. Oops. And the chances of me spending more than the Amazon-mandated price of £9 for the thing are slim to none, since I don't think I've ever paid full hardback prices for anything.

*shrugs*

Considering that JKR has probably done bad things to all the characters I like to imagine having hot sex with one another, I'm not sure I want to know. Particularly since I already need to rearrange the contents of my bookshelves because stuff is piling up again and a 600+ page hardback doesn't help with that.

Of course, it doesn't help that I don't actually want to go to work today because Telanu has finally finished her lengthy and extremely excellent 'Tea' series and I'd much rather be re-reading all that and reading the new one before my OTC meets a (speculated) grisly end.

Snape/Harry!

Although I'm not impressed by Rowling's style by a long shot, I would like to point out that she started out writing for a different audience from a slash audience. Just sayin'. ;-)

Yes indeedy. :)

IIRC, Telanu was one of the people who originally led me astray back when that was pretty much my reaction... also it could be said that JKR has seriously missed out considering the amount of perversity the wizarding world has generated, one way or another. ;)

Heh, oh yes, lots and tons of peversity...she's set it up incredibly well for that - it's amazing how *dark* her world of Harry Potter can get, even if you're not really of that bent. She could really go for the all-out horror aspect of the series, if she wanted. Yeah, if Rowling wanted to, man. What a gold-mine. Talk about Dark Tower!
