So, I'm trying to finish the bloody SG-1 novel and thought I had a nice neat way to finish it all figured out but I just needed to check some details with an early episode (we're talking season 1, in case anyone was wondering, since Daniel and Jack needed to visit a particular planet for a particular reason) only to find that something in canon means I can't quite do what I wanted.

Because now I know what I want to do breaches canon, I just can't feel happy about writing the storyline like I wanted because if I know it's messed up then other people will as well. Well, that just happens to be the way I feel about it, what do you think? ;)

That's what the author's note is for. "Regarding (wrong canon)? That was deliberate, you bloody nitpickers. It's part of the purpose of the story. Now sit back and enjoy it!"

Yerk. I hate those kinds of authors notes, because they just yell 'lazy writer!' for me. But YMMV (and probably does!). ;)

LOL. Suit yourself, but if your opinion is this firm already, why the need for a useless poll? So you can laugh at us nitwits that disagree with you?

*ding ding ding* ;)

Prevarication. And wondering how many other people would tie themselves in knots this way, but I'm not alone! Woohoo!
