graculus: (geek love)

I've been using Opera as a browser for ages now, even back in the day when you had to pay for it if you wanted ad-free, and can't see that changing any time soon... I know a bunch of you guys love Firefox but I just can't get into it for a number of reasons:

  • Opera has this thing where you can just push one button and you can get rid of people's hideous lj headers, or the nasty colours they've made their website.

  • It also has the function for enlarging or reducing text there on the browser

  • And feeds. Opera 9 has a built in newsfeed reader than doesn't insist on 'live bookmarks' or whatever it is...

Yes, I'm hooked, how did you guess? ;)

Really? I find the idea of this feature very attractive. On LJ, I view everyone's journal entries in my own style when that's possible, but when I have to read someone else's journal style, 99% of the time it makes my eyes hurt. Even if the journal is gorgeous, I prefer easy to read. :-) The same goes for website.
