I've been using Opera as a browser for ages now, even back in the day when you had to pay for it if you wanted ad-free, and can't see that changing any time soon... I know a bunch of you guys love Firefox but I just can't get into it for a number of reasons:

  • Opera has this thing where you can just push one button and you can get rid of people's hideous lj headers, or the nasty colours they've made their website.

  • It also has the function for enlarging or reducing text there on the browser

  • And feeds. Opera 9 has a built in newsfeed reader than doesn't insist on 'live bookmarks' or whatever it is...

Yes, I'm hooked, how did you guess? ;)

Not so keen on the bittorrent stuff, since I use Azureus and find that works a lot quicker, but the widgets are cool too... that one looks like a real timesuck! ;)

What's great about the aquarium widget is that you build up more money the longer the game runs, and certain fish will breed over time, so you can stick it in the background, do some work, and then you go back, and you have lots of cash and lots of fish to sell for more cash.

Ah, it amused me. Especially when I got enough for the piranha.
