Apr. 15th, 2004 12:33 amOn my website, I have a couple of recs pages. They're nothing spectacular, just a compilation of the fic I like, the authors whose stuff I like to read and a reminder to myself of where certain stories are that I might want to re-read at some point. In addition to this, if they're of use to someone else, that's cool too.
Colour me amused tonight when I receive an email from someone pimping their Snape/Harry fic to me.
I think I'd be more impressed if not only was this person fishing randomly for comments to someone they don't know but if they hadn't also sent the exact same email to someone else who runs a much more impressive recs website than my own. Who knows how many people they've spammed by now? ;)
