UK release date for Howl's Moving Castle - 30th September 2005. Oops. Sounds like I might be bunking off from the first night of connotations unless I can land tickets for an advance screening the night before. ;)

Meanwhile, just 6 more weeks till Kung Fu Hustle airs in the UK (June 10th).

E.T.A. The main fan-run Miyazaki site says September 1st, as does the BBFC, so there might not be a clash after all! :)

Pssst, blktauna, I know, death before Disney but... nope, can't do it.

The only downside is the fact that the big screen release of Howl is going to be dubbed, not subtitled, not that this will stop me buying the dvd so I get the original (it'd better be on there!).

And I definitely would rather spork Miramax, as well as believing that the sooner Pixar have nothing whatsoever to do with Disney the better. Bah.

I'm sure the orginal voice cast will be on there, Disney learned that lesson from Princess Mononoke. On the upside for the English voice cast, Lauren Bacall is going to be the Witch of the Waste.

And Jean Simmons as old!Sophie, which is perfect voice casting imo. :)
