Yes, the trip is on. I'm off to (hopefully) sunny Montreal on May 22nd, then down to Ottawa to plague obelix, eat copious amounts of what the colonials call 'eggplant' when all the civilised world knows it as aubergines, then off to MediaWest with her. From there, having hopefully caught up with penfold_x, dmarley, khek and too many others to enumerate, it's back to Ottawa before a couple more days in Montreal and then back to the UK on June 3rd. Phew!

There's nothing wrong with English weather :)
I spent three weeks in the UK in June 2000 : it was sunny at least half the time :)

I don't envy you having to sell your house. We bought our current house with the intention of not moving again for at least 20 years.
