In case anyone was wondering why I came onto AIM earlier on today and sat there for over 6 hours saying nothing, I should probably explain that one of the ferrets escaped from their cage while I was out at work and enjoyed himself immensely exploring the house (including clambering all over my desk and keyboard)... ;)

E.T.A. All my desktop icons have moved around as well. How the critter in question managed this without crashing my computer is anyone's guess...

I'm not totally sure how he managed to get Trillian to open, but I'm more pleased that he managed to drink the dregs of the mug of coffee I'd left beside the computer (it was Obi, the caffeine fiend, in case you were wondering) without tipping it all over my new (cream) carpet.

I'm starting to think your ferrets are related to mine. Magick is the coffee nut. Actually she'll drink anything. I once caught her trying to get into wine glass. They actually managed to make off with my PDA the other morning. I'm usually so good about keeping it out of 'ferret range'. But it seems to be the new 'shiny' that they'll go to any lengths to get to.

I left one of the doors open yesterday when Magick wanted to come out and Spirit was fast asleep. Totally forgot about the door. I then put her in the bedroom to play and put my headphones on to vid. Imagine my surprise when there was suddenly 4+ pounds of boy ferret at my elbow on the computer desk.

Ferrets will never, ever let you get bored. :)
