Ooh-er, how did that happen?

Unexpectedly, today I found myself applying for another job. I hadn't intended to, I'd just sent off for the job description because I was curious, but when I actually read it, I kept thinking 'that's me' and how perfect it was. And it's more money, which is always nice.
The only downside is, if I get it, the job is in Coventry. Which means I'll have to move house because it's a hundred mile round trip from where I'm living now and I can't be doing with that every day.
Ooh-er. It feels a bit like "we've gone on holiday by mistake!". :P

Date: 2005-01-20 06:17 pm (UTC)I'm keeping an eye on the job market here since I think this place is going to take a swift spin down the toilet soon. The problem is that where I live now, there aren't a lot of jobs in what I like to do. I'd have to move. I can't move yet because I'm the daughter that keeps an eye on mom, and she's not ready to move yet. She knows she may have to in a few years, but she doesn't know where she'd want to move to, she doesn't want to leave me alone and her boyfriend is down here. :)
That plus the fact I've only been in this house a little less than 2 years. I like my little house.
