Parting shot from my boss, as he's sending me off to a meeting in the middle of nowhere this afternoon when it's snowing: "Drive carefully! Don't crash your car because I need you here!"

I've heard things like that. My boss told me I'm not allowed to get hit by a bus. Like that would stop a bus from smushing me...
