So, Carnivale is going to be on FX from September 5th. Good stuff! Looks like the kind of odd and twisted show I could really get into. ;)
Meanwhile, over on Living, I'm overdosing on CSI. It's a little confusing because they're apparently showing episodes from every season made so far (no Gil, whoever told you that the beard would make you look more manly was lying...) but it also means that I got to see the furry episode! "That's not a costume, it's a six-foot condom." *snickers* I've been waiting to see that episode for what seems like forever (since it popped up in mentions on the first incarnation of Fandom Wank, iirc), so imagine my surprise when the head comes off one of the furrys and it's Marty! Marty, you're an even bigger freak than I'd previously imagined!
We just had the crossover ep with CSI: Miami as well and I've been reinforced in my desire never to watch the show in question. Gingernut was annoying enough in NYPD Blue, here he's even more grating.
Oh, and the new seasons of Six Feet Under and Without a Trace - enjoying both very much. :)

Date: 2004-08-23 11:56 am (UTC)As for CSI, I think it's one of those things you either love or hate. I like trying to figure out what happened before they do, and have occasionally managed it. And a couple of the actors are quite easy on the eye as well, which doesn't hurt.

Date: 2004-08-22 11:11 pm (UTC)The Furry ep had me in hysterics. So true as to be frightening.
Gingermut.... Bwwahahahahaha how restrained... I just call him dickhead...
