This just in from SciFi Channel – the overnights for last Friday’s episode are the highest ever for a regular first-run SG-1 episode (on SciFi). The only episode to have surpassed it in the ratings (so far) has been the Season 8 premiere! For the first time ever, SG-1 has also surpassed Stargate: Atlantis in the ratings. Does this mean Atlantis' ratings are dropping each week? That's not a good sign. Am actually surprised that the SG ratings are still going up, but I'm sure SciFi are happy. I guess this means S9 is a go.

Looks like SG ratings are holding pretty steady while the Atlantis ratings drop - by my calculations that's a third less people watched the latest ep than watched the premiere? The actual figures are over on the thread in question...
