Just in case I disappear suddenly...
Jun. 24th, 2004 06:23 pmI keep getting emails from my ISP demanding that I do something called 'SMTP Authentication' in order that I can continue to send email through their server - apparently it's some new scheme to reduce the amount of spam - so if I discover that I can't send stuff to people I'll be looking for a new ISP post haste.
Why? Because the only email programs they give you instructions for on how to make this happen are Windoze ones and I use Pegasus - the help site makes a bland statement about other programs not being supported and that's it. Suddenly I have a whole new understanding for the plight of Mac users. ;)
