Honest.

Not that there's much to say other than that. Work remains a constant mix of 'wtf are you doing you dumbass!?!' and 'oh my team is so awesome, thank all the gods for that' because seriously, if the latter were not true, I'd probably now be in all sorts of difficulties. As I keep telling people, much as I'd like to take credit for it (see! see! awesome manager here!) I was incredibly lucky to have had no hand in who I've ended up with and still had awesome folks who bug the crap out of me at times but still do the business.

In other news, things I am liking much at the moment:
  • Getting back into baking (also appreciated by folks at work)
  • The sun being out finally
  • The fact there is a metric shit-ton of Avengers fic out there
  • That Grimm got renewed for another season, because I am in love...
  • That we're only days away from Suits season 2
  • That Patrick J Adams is a massive photojunkie and keeps posting pics from behind the scenes while they're filming
  • That the whole UFYH thing is having a massive impact on my house and its overall cleaniness and order
  • That [livejournal.com profile] obelix is planning to come over for [livejournal.com profile] connotations this year! \o/

    Not so good:
  • 15,000 words into my 1930's UNCLE fic and haven't touched it for a couple of weeks, though apparently the whole UFYH 45/15 thing does work when I try it
  • That we're still days away from Suits season 2 (and if they push the whole Mike/Rachel thing the way they're teasing I will not be pleased)
  • That I'm not at MediaWest or another con at the moment (envious of both [livejournal.com profile] sithdragn and [livejournal.com profile] xochiquetzl in different locations)
  • That I'm saving up for future holidays and can't make my frakking mind up what I want to do, other than the Trans-Mongolian railway and I'm worried I won't be able to sleep on the train and will commit multiple homicide somewhere across the steppes...

So, how's it shaking with all you good folks? ;)

**waves** Glad you're not dead! :)

I'm sad not to be at MediaWest this year too. :( No new zines! What will I read outside all summer? And no chance to see everyone and talk about old and new shows. And no chance to exercise my door-decorating skills. I really hope that next year, things will work out.

The Trans-Mongolian railway trip sounds wonderful...if you don't get train sick. Can you take an overnight trip to somewhere close and see?

I've missed two MW now after doing not-quite-sure-how-many on the trot though it sounds like it's gradually shrinking each year - without a concerted effort to get younger fans in (and with the overall theme being 'get off my lawn!' and 'what is this newfangled intarwebs of which you speak?' that seems a little unlikely) it might not be around for me to get back to by the time I get my act together.
