9 – Pairings – For each of the fandoms from day two, what are your three favorite pairings to write?

For each of the fandoms? Erm, not happening for two of them (Man from UNCLE and Wild Wild West) where there is only one pairing for me - Napoleon/Illya and Jim West/Artemus Gordon respectively, of course.

Stargate SG-1 - I've written Jack/Daniel and Daniel/Teal'c quite happily. I would like to write Daniel/Cameron but I just can't seem to get our replacement flyboy in the same way. ;)

Magnificent 7 - to date I've written mostly Ezra/Nathan and a couple of Ezra/Chris. It's quite possible at some point that I'll write Ezra/Buck if I get the right idea, likewise Ezra/Josiah is not beyond reach, again idea permitting, but I just can't see Vin or JD getting any action with my favourite gambler any time soon. Sorry guys!

LOL - yeah, I hear you on there not being a way to get that many pairings, especially for MUNCLE - even though I did, back in the day, get Illya paired with the blue-eyed agent from "Survival School" and I can see Illya and Mark, every now and then. I could mention Waverly - but I won't. Even though . . .

Mag 7 - yep and yep. I can see Vin and Ezra for the duration of a story - a hot, sweaty moment that they both regret later, one possibly started in the fire of mutual frustration with each other, but I can't see them together for the long-term. I watched "Vendetta" last night, and the way Vin roles his eyes at Ezra in the "go parley" scene just seems so indicative to me of how they see the world so very very differently.

Ezra/Buck is a construction I can see - they seem to have so much in common, attitudenally. And I love Delphi's Josiah/Ezra stories. Josiah is such a wonderful character to play with - as is Nathan. Nor nearly enough was done with him in the show.

Unfortunately I think my view of Vin has probably been affected more by the fanon StVinnySue than it has by the canon Vin Tanner and though I normally find Eric Close quite a nummy treat, I still can't quite get past the thing that died on his head in the pilot...

LOL - yeah, the wig in the pilot was dreadful. And fanon has done very very bad things to him, especially C/V fanon which sanctifies him and 're-virginizes' him - and E/V which tends to sanctify him and neanderthalize him!

He's really not a bad guy in canon. Rather fun, actually. *g*
