A little me time...

graculusIn my quest to use up my annual leave before the end of the financial year, I've got this week off work and I've been very productive so far! Yes, I've managed to actually Get Stuff Done rather than spend the week in my jammies watching tv or reading pr0n. ;)
The big one so far, I guess, is that I went out yesterday and bought a new car. Well, a 9 months old car that looks like this (same colour and everything). I am a sadly geeky person, which will come as no surprise to anyone reading this, and was overjoyed by the fact that it comes with a USB port for charging stuff up and when you turn the engine off, the wing mirrors turn in to the body. For some reason, I have only ever owned cars that are blue or red - this is Blue Car 3, which brings the overall score to Blue 3 Red 3. Picking up my new baby next week!
In other news, I've also been working on my next holiday and it's looking like it's not going to be including MediaWest, as I'm odd about sharing hotel rooms with folks I don't know in that kind of scenario. It's a bit too personal, unlike travelling in general, I guess. Waiting for confirmation on the arrangements at present, but it's somewhere I've wanted to go for ages. And it's also pretty much guaranteed to make everyone I know go 'huh?', which is always a bonus. *bounces*
Thirdly, there has been a massive amount of cleaning and decluttering going on already this week and I'm in a suitably proactive mood still. Heaven knows, if I wrote for a living I'd have the cleanest house in the known universe, though I did plot out a whole loosely-related-to-White-Collar football AU/story this morning. See, that's the easy bit, it's the actual writing that's hard! :P
