I work in local government, not business, so it's more than a little annoying when officespeak sneaks in there.

I had to be amused today though when three of the other managers in the office are talking with me about how we've all been stitched up by our respective boss to 'cascade' (gah, I hate that term!) something and the talk turns to how it's much more like waterboarding. Or indeed golden showers. :P

I am clearly more among my people than I realised...

Not guilty of that one. That was one of the other managers. I was the one comparing the concept of 'cascading' information to waterboarding... ;)
