Back home, sorry for being off the grid in case anyone was worried I'd been carried away by marauding moose and/or vikings - blame a combination of LJ and then my laptop deciding that western Newfoundland (a place where the towns don't even have one horse) is the best location to stop communicating at all with the outside world.

Off to bed now as I am still on Newfoundland time, but more soon! And I mean it this time! :)

Also, it was not so much Newfoundland itself as my laptop, which still refuses to connect with anything - this weekend's jobs will include Sorting The Laptop Out for sure!

Ooh yes, I love sharing the Daniel eye candy!

When I took the laptop on a road trip, I accidentally clicked the manual wireless switch to the "off" position. It took me 2 days to figure it out. D'oh! Hope your connectivity problem is as easily and inexpensively solved.

I had to run and check the wireless switch, but it wasn't that, so I think it's a problem with the network software. Got to get the ethernet cable out today and try to sort this, as it's incredibly frustrating!
