graculusAfter spending much of yesterday rummaging around in the loft and cleaning the bathroom (yes, I'm off work this week, is it that obvious?), I was considering a trip to the local dump this morning when it suddenly started snowing. Never remiss on using such an easy excuse, I decided to stay indoors instead and I've started tinkering with my planned trip to Newfoundland in June. :)
When I ventured downstairs for more caffeine, it seems that word has spread around the neighbourhood cats about how I am A Soft Touch, following my adventures with manky!cat in summer '08 and I now have another moggy yowling for my attention in the garden. The difference in this case is that I know where said moggy belongs so I'm less inclined to give in. At the moment.
In other news, belated love for Sheldon + ball pool. Bazinga! :P
Also continuing to love White Collar and Castle althoughMarySue Tara is still failing to impress me on Leverage as I find her character (or something) a little too front and centre for my liking. I admit I'm an episode behind, so I hope it gets better. Also much love for Parker towering over Eliot. Heh.
Thirdly, if one good thing came out of RaceFail, it was an excellent reading list of stuff I might not have ever come across before - I'm currently partway through My Soul to Keep by Tananarive Due and it's one of the best things I've read in a long time. Wish I'd come across her books before!
