I could bang my head against the wall, really I could.
Two weeks running! First we're doing well against Liverpool and let the buggers score in the dying minutes to steal the game from us (utterly undeserved,
blktauna) and then yesterday it's bloody Chelsea. And we were winning! We played way better than they did, despite the horrendous price tags on their team.
Jeez. The only consolation if we get relegated would be if Leeds went down as well, the conniving sods. It'd be amusing to see them have to sell all their star players because they don't want to be in the First Division and they can't afford the wage bills any more.
Can't see how we can avoid it now, if we can't make the best of chances like these past couple of weeks. :(

But it is fun watching Leeds founder isn't it?

Date: 2004-03-29 09:27 am (UTC)Quotes from the BBC (and who can argue with them?) with my emphasis:
"A last-gasp Sami Hyypia goal gave Liverpool a fortuitous win over Wolves."
"Wolves' tireless performance probably deserved a share of the points..."
"With Liverpool struggling to find inspiration..." ;)

Inspiration... My boot up Houllier's arse might get some inspiration going. That and keeping the cute little Owen lad out of the line up until he gets his head back on staright would help...

Date: 2004-04-01 05:08 am (UTC)Finally got my arse in gear and got an LJ. Am now stalking people who I know and doing a bit of hit and run friending. So "Please Ms G, may I friend you"? Heeee!
Also just found out about Connotations and have bugged Corb and Rags into agreeing to go.
Now having embarrased self in public shall flee back into the shadows.
