Somewhere in my house there is a Chunky Peanut Butter Kitkat.

Like someone who has never had ferrets, I foolishly left a multi-pack of said items on a chair in my living room - there were three left of the original five and I have so far located one gnawed-at-but-unopened and one opened-and-gnawed-at and one just-the-empty-wrapper.

Yes, the emergency vet is on speed dial. *headdesk*

Oh man, SO been there! I stick something in my backpack, forget about it... ferrets go to play in the backpack... yeah.

Good luck!

I was lulled into a false sense of security by the fact I'd left it there the day before and nobody had touched it... clearly they were biding their time! ;)

Chunky Peanut Butter Kitkat.

I have the fortune/misfortune of the inability of taking care a pet. However, food and mysteriously gnawed on items have occurred in my household for as a child, my mother often told of me eating the oddest things. Like lego blocks. LOL.

Hmm...It might explain a few things...

Hope the ferrets are faring well.

PS: Chunky Peanut Butter Kitkat.?!?! Oh, you guys get such cool chocolates like those addictive Coffee Crisps and Cadburies!

They're sneaky buggers..... one of my cats pinched my fruit cake when I went to answer the phone once.

Yep, and I should know better - grew up with cats of similar natures and have had weasels for over 10 years...

Er, ferrets not allowed to have chocolate? I know dogs shouldn't...

It's not so much the fact it's chocolate, it's the sugar content as this can lead to problems like insulinoma, where the pancreas works overtime. A single raisin or something is okay but not an entire chocolate bar!
