I seem to have acquired a cat...

I went out to put something in the bin and there, in the front garden, was an extremely nervous-looking skinny cat. I had some catfood that Dougal rejected and tried her (at least I think it's a her, I haven't looked that closely...) and it was all wolfed down in a matter of moments.

Once that hurdle was overcome, I was able to stroke her and see how bony she was, and since I can feel ribs and spine I think we're talking either lost or left behind - coat condition is pretty poor as well. Shorthaired blue, in case you were wondering, and currently sitting by the side of the sofa and purring fit to burst.

E.T.A. And I've been checking the 'local' missing cats list and may have found a match... missing since May and chipped, so we'll see when we get the chance to run this one under a scanner... ;)

Well, I did at one point have ferrets called Narcissa and Bellatrix, though they didn't get on with the lads, hence I ended up with Woody and Buzz.

Anyway, it may all be premature as I've been checking the local lost cats listing and I may have a match...
