Well, I made it to Toronto and am relatively unjetlagged, all things considered. Hotel lobby wireless works, after a few tries in the room which didn't, so it's all good.

It's apparently Queen Victoria's birthday today, otherwise known as 'an excuse to have a holiday', so it's going to be touch and go what's open but so far the skies have not fallen and therefore it's time to go and mooch around the city for a bit. :)

Victoria Day or the day where we set up gardens and prepare the cottages for summer habitation ;-)

Mostly in Ontario all stores, banks, offices are closed but restaurants should be open and so should museums.

And I'm holding up tradition by gardening today, in the cold and rain :-(

The last forecast I saw for Lansing said warm and sunny, so don't break out the mukluks just yet! ;)

Glad the jetlag didn't hit you too hard. And sorry about the weather. It was a miserable one today. (Even more miserable for the gardening we did.)

Hope you found something fun to do. I was thinking we could either meet at your hotel tomorrow or at the restaurant. Little Tibet is about 3 or 4 blocks further west from where we were last night. (712 Queen St. W.) Either way, I'm guessing I can make it downtown by about 6:30. (I work in the hinterlands of suburbia.)

Yep, it was bloody cold at times! Pfft. Anyway, I mooched around for a few hours, came back to the hotel room for a nap and then went to see The Forbidden Kingdom (it'll come as no surprise to anyone that I have much Jet Li love...).

I'm happy to meet up either at the hotel or the restaurant, your call. And don't kill yourself trying to get into the city if 7pm would work better!

I saw The Forbidden Kingdom last week with a friend and her 13-year-old. While neither classic Jet or Jackie, it was definitely a fun ride.

Why don't we meet at 7pm at the restaurant. That'll will give me plenty of wiggle room if the traffic is stupid. Which is quite often is.
