graculusI suppose the one virtue of dealing with a pet crematorium run by an elderly farmer is that they're relatively flexible over hours - I was already due to go and pick up Obi's ashes today, but since I needed to take Remus over, I had to call and make an appointment when someone would be around. Which means 7.30pm tonight, apparently, as he has to go pick up someone's German Shepherd this afternoon.
In other news, I've also been having a somewhat vexing time at work. The much-promised office move has fallen through, which really comes as no suprise since I've been over two years without a permanent base. Unfortunately for one of the senior managers, he happened to visit where I'm currently located on Thursday and got vented at. It's probably a good thing it wasn't Friday, since I was just vexed on Thursday and I would probably have undermined that completely by dissolving into a puddle of goo. Or I would have told him to stick the job up his arse. I think I would prefer that option of the two.
Thirdly, I currently have zero inspiration for the Wild Wild West story I should be working on at the moment, or indeed for anything else. I keep writing stuff and then deleting it because it's a stinky pile of crap. Grrr.
