graculusBack from the ferret shelter. Out of curiosity, we tried the lads with a couple of jills and also with a polecat hob. Oddly enough, they seemed to get along quite well with all three, spending over an hour together without Fight Club breaking out, though towards the end of that time the boys just all climbed back into their carrier and refused to engage any more.
So we've come home with the jills who are currently settling in to the other cage - they're sisters, so they're used to living together already. They're both about 3, one black-eyed white and one silver (which currently just means white with a scattering of black-tipped hairs on her head and back), and their names are Sugar and Spice so that has to change. I'm kind of considering Narcissa and Bellatrix at the moment. ;)

And yes, I'll probably be going back for the hob in a couple of weeks, once the girls have moved in with my threesome and my bigger hutch has been delivered.

(says someone who was ][ <-- this close to walking out of a shop with the most adorable six week old deaf blaze on Friday. I think the only thing that saved me was a.) going to Ireland for a week, leaving on Friday - not a good time for a new *baby* and b.) I don't know how well Gaia would take to having her 'babyhood' usurped.)
