graculusOne benefit of being a bit of a free agent was that this afternoon, when I came out of a meeting in town at 2.30pm and it was absolutely pissing down, I was able to think 'sod this, I'm going home' rather than make my way back to the office for less than two hours more work (by the time I would have got there).
Driving home, the amount of water on the roads just served to reinforce what a damn good idea it was to leave early, particularly after I'd driven through a few patches of water that were already well over a foot deep.
