Mostly for the SG-1 people, but I know she's also lurking in SPN now: If anyone talks to myfieldnotes a.k.a. Cathy L, could you ask her to email me please? I've emailed her a couple of times but I'm not getting a response, so I wonder if my mail is getting through...

Meanwhile, in other news I have currently got a hire car because my car is in the garage tomorrow due to engine noise. This is not good in more ways than one, since I am now realising how knackered my car (116,000 miles since new when I got it seven years ago, all mine...) is, how nice it would be to have something else and presentiments of how expensive the engine noise issue might be to fix. *sigh* My experience of cars has always been along the lines of eventually driving them into the ground (I'm on my fourth car since 1988 and I've had this one since 2000), so I'm unused to this whole business.

And my mother comes tomorrow. The house is cleaner than before but the weather makes me want to build an ark rather than sort out the garden. Oh well. ;)

She's terrible about answering her email. She's very busy and has lots of responsibilities. She told us to write in the subject line, HEY CATHY!! to get her attention. So, my advice is to do that and maybe something else to grab her attention. Maybe something Supernatural related? Good luck.
