Bad enough that the next Dr Who is in two weeks so I'll be away but then they have Captain Jack's first onscreen line as "Was someone kissing me?" and there's Mr Saxon as well - so unfair! *pouts*

Oh, and this week's episode was much better than the previous ones, if you're wondering.

I think it was a preview for the reason of the season, not just for next week's episode. Jack's not due back until ep 11, I believe, the next one is ep 7.

That's not quite so bad then - I have to say, I was wondering how they were going to arrange a plot with all those disparate elements in it, but this is Who... ;)

I wondered much the same thing, but then I remembered the two week gap and decided that they were probably going for "don't abandon us, folks, it's going to get *really good* after the break!" approach. We'll see though, eh?

I can't believe we have to wait 2 weeks for it!!! Darn. And I definitely enjoyed this more than the last two.

Yes, I was decidedly underwhelmed by the dalek episodes as well, so this episode was much better - I'd never realised Mark Gatiss was quite that freckly!

And I'll be missing two eps, which is bad, by being the wrong side of the Atlantic. Ah well. I guess seeing the season premieres of various things live, including Heroes, makes up for it a little. ;)

LOL - you know I made the comment about freckles too :) And I suppose missing two eps of Dr Who has to be balanced out and watching things live is good, although the ads are a pain in the backside :)
