Actually, it isn't that I'd really like it to be Isaac, because deeply flawed characters can be fun. It's just that they've established that Syler is going to get him. Since they went to all the trouble of not saving Charlie, I don't think they're going to flinch and save Isaac.
I'm afraid I find Syler much more entertaining than Isaac, who's all whiny and seems to forget he's pretty persistently been an annoying not-always-ex junkie. Frankly I almost enjoyed it when they were tormenting him by making him think Simone was still alive.
Even Mohinder, with his superpower of being pretty but extremely dumb, is less annoying than Isaac.
I liked him in the beginning, when he was all drugged out and screwed up and all. I thought there was more substance to his character that would eventually be revealed. Unfortunately, what was revealed is a boring, whiny and annoying fellow. Bleargh.
Nikki / Jessica - she's the only one I've wanted to fast forward since the show started. Although Sylar is getting very boring indeed, along the lines of thousands of no-plot-just-killings slasher movies.
I fear that it is going to be Mr. Bennet because I just can't see how they are going to find a way to not kill him at this point, but I'd love it if he didn't die.
DL and The Haitian could go. The Haitian doesn't have much personality though he definitely played a role in the story up until now. I think he could easily be expanded and made interesting if we knew a bit more about him, which we just might soon. DL has personality, but no major role in the story as of yet.
I wonder how Mr Bennet would have done with the viewers in a poll like this before the episode where they worked really hard to redeem him?
I wonder if they have plans for DL or whether he mostly exists to deal with Nikki? It seems as though he knows that Nikki isn't really Nikki, though, so who knows? Hmm.
I'm really enjoying having a show where I have no idea how it's quite going to turn out, because the writers are quite inventive. ;)
