Good thing the lunar eclipse was last night, when it was nice and clear, since tonight looks like being quite cloudy.
In other news, my UNCLE fic is rapidly approaching 13,000 words and still there is much dancing around the subject in question. I think I know where it's going, but it's all so coy at the moment that I'm not sure how much action there's actually going to be - not that this is necessarily a bad thing, but sometimes people feel cheated if there's not the hot monkey sex! ;)
Also, I must say in defence of last night's episode of Primeval, that it's a long time since I've been so entertained by such a serious block of cheese. Seriously, who thought up the whole killer dodo plotline and why is it that it was still a thousand times better than the most recent SG-1 episode? Oh, I know! It's because it wasn't written by Mallozzi and Mullie! Though they could have improved their episode massively by having Daniel answering the door in his skivvies...

Date: 2007-03-04 06:36 pm (UTC)And I loved last night's Primeval. Nick, bless him, makes a perfect victim-of-evil-wife. Stephen is still a bit of an arse, but he's pretty. And rampaging Dodos was a wonderful storyline, but the poor Dodos! I'm so pleased this is getting another series. Hopefully it'll be more than 6 episodes, but even 6 more is better than none.

Date: 2007-03-04 07:25 pm (UTC)Sadly the previews have something bad happening next week with Claudia and Nick. Good grief, is there any show on the planet that doesn't go for the idea that a woman and a man must somehow fall for one another. Claudia is a bitch (though not on the scale of Helen) and there have been no sparks whatsoever between her and Nick. Why oh why oh why would they have them kissing? *sigh*

I think there have been sparks, but unfortunately they're only in the scriptwriters' heads.

Date: 2007-03-04 09:05 pm (UTC)It was made even more amusing for me by the fact that the music they chose (Clubfoot, by Kasabian) was the soundtrack to a Life on Mars vid I'd been watching a couple of hours earlier... ;)
