The top one of Remus is so precious! I have a similar one of Magick tucked into a pair of my boxer shorts in the dresser that's one of my favorites.

I love his red coat! I've never seen such a ginger ferret!

He's very inconsistent in terms of colour - that shot was taken when he had his summer coat, which was very ginger, and he's currently more of a beige ferret. ;)

You know, between you and researchgrrrl I'm so tempted, but I have two cats and I don't think cats and ferrets would be compatible!

Cats and ferrets actually get along famously more often than not. (Of course, individual personalities do figure in.)

My boy Spirit absolutely loves going to his pet care person's house, because then he can chase her 20 lb. black cat around the house. Spirit's bit for a ferret - 4 lbs. - but the cat doesn't seem to realize that he really could stand up to him. :) So they end up playing all day long.

Just a thought... :)

That was a pre-Christmas photo, before she was poorly again, but she's better than she was - the chest infection seems to have disappeared and she's now pottering about a bit more and is (briefly) interested in what's going on around her. Still not as perky as she used to be, though...
