Jan. 21st, 2007 08:31 pmI have a feeling Lily isn't going to be around much longer. Even writing that makes it seem a little more real, but I think I've been denying it to myself for the past couple of weeks. I don't regret her having the surgery last year, but while in many ways she has made a complete recovery (including the best coat of fur she's had in a while), she's much quieter and less interested in what's going on around her than she was before.
All she does is sleep. I mean, more than usual; other than waking up occasionally to make the short trip from where she's sleeping to somewhere she can poop and then to the food dish and back to bed, she isn't at all interested in what's going on around her. At least she's still eating and she doesn't seem to be in any distress, but it seems unlikely she's going to perk up from this.
I'll take her to the vets this week anyway, and get her checked over just in case.
