Just when you thought it was all over... ;)

No, it's not Lily. She's now eating properly, so I've been able to stop spoonfeeding her with my own mixture of beef paste and Ferretvite, and I was considering putting her back in with the boys. Which is good, because now Remus is going into solitary confinement. *sigh*

Basically, he's got some lumps on the end of his tail that someone (could be him, could be the others) has clearly been chewing at and they're infected. So now I have some ungodly strong cream to put on twice a day that involves me wearing gloves and it's into solitary for the ginger one. And that doesn't solve the problem of what the lumps are...

I've been pretty lucky with him - this is his first trip to the vet in about 4 years...

I'm assuming that if you have a cream for him that he's been to the vet and they've ruled out blackheads? I know some ferrets get blackheads on their tails when they change coats in the fall.

He went to the vet this morning - these are like long scabs at the very tip of his tail, but it's hard to tell because he's apparently been gnawing at them...
