No, it wasn't me who drove to the local 24 hour Asda to buy chicken for a certain weasel at midnight last night because she wasn't eating, must have been some other vegetarian who doesn't normally keep chopped-up poultry in the house. And then the little bitca then got her revenge on me by turning up her nose at it - she'd lost interest in the cat food/olive oil combo shortly after I posted and this morning I caught her eating the hard ferret food instead. Typical.

In other news, I got an email from my ISP yesterday, warning me I was over my download limits for September. I mean well over, like almost 30% over. Oops. In hindsight, I know what caused that and I blame [livejournal.com profile] gingerminx for one, since once I discovered that I had to get the Turlough episodes and they're not out on dvd. I shall be good for October, really I shall! ;)

What else? *thinks* Well, my panels are proceeding apace - I have a pretty good idea of what I want to do for the cliché panel and am gathering all sorts of scary stuff for the bad fic one. However, if your fandom has something you feel shouldn't be left out of the mockage, please feel free to link me to it in the comments or email me at graculus AT livejournal DOT com.

*scurries off to get more brain bleach in anticipation*

Have you tried chicken babyfood? Gerbers or the equivelent? Comes 'premashed' and is generally regarded as Good Food by most ferrets, even if you have to stick their noses in it a time or two to get them to realize this. I have an article around here somewhere about how ferrets can actually live on chicken baby food for a time if they need to.

I'm picking some Nutrical up in the morning and hopefully this will help. She's actually eating the dry food, though it's slow going, and drinking okay but considering she's still only 24 hours post-surgery things could be much worse...
