Since yesterday I have written over 4,000 words in my Wild Wild West story, which makes me feel that it is indeed possible for me to manage 1,666 words a day for NaNoWriMo. ;)

We've had some fumbling, a little inopportune bodily reaction, but as yet no 'and then they done sex', so I think we still have a way to go. Oh, and I've been granted amnesty from the zine deadline, because the editors said they couldn't resist me offering them a story even if it's late. And the zine (Sin and Salvation 2) sounds like it's going to be great! :)

Why do I not have a Wild Wild West icon? This is a shameful oversight, not helped by the fact that my season 1 dvd set is Region 1 and my computer's dvd drive isn't regionfree... I'm sure there's something that can be done about that, kind friendslist?

Although I haven't dl'ed it (yet), I've been told that VLC Player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) will play region 1, even if your computer is set to region 2 :) Might be worth seeing if anyone else has tried it.

Windows media player won't play my CSI:NY region 1 DVD's but VLC player does so I think it must be region free.

Grac, are you going to sign up on the NaNo webpage? If you do, there's a page on every writer's "homepage" there that is for a friends' list, basically, and it gives you a thermometer word counter for all your friends. It's a cool way to see how everyone's doing, and cheer them on. :-)

Last year, Aizjanika joined about two weeks late, and ended up passing me on the word counter! - she was on fire, I guess, LOL.
