graculusSo, what's been going on with you guys?
I've been interviewing people for my dissertation over the last few days and it wasn't till I started transcribing the interviews that I realised quite how often I start sentences with the word 'So...' - I'd noticed I tend to do that when I'm posting here but I wasn't aware that I was saying it as well! I bought one of those digital dictation thingys and it's fantastic... I'm tempted to use it for writing purposes as well, though I'm not sure if I can cope with transcribing (or even dictating!) the hot-and-heavy. ;)
Meanwhile, over in ferret land, in my ongoing quest for the best dry ferret food going, I sent off for free samples of something I'd seen recommended in a couple of places and the kids love it. Which is fine, except I just bought a 15kg bag of something else so the kids are going to have to wait to be on the new stuff. Oh, and here's some new pics of the boys:
Yes, that is a hot water bottle. Or it was, before the evil weasel teeth of Remus got to it...
In work matters, I have one more day left ofmadness management before I sidle off to get my dissertation finished and then it's back to my old job and semi-idleness. Which I'm looking forward to as my brain is buzzing, I've got a variety of things I need to do for my real job that just got postponed and maybe I can catch my breath before Connotations that way. Oh, and finish my Wild Wild West fic that's due for the end of September but which I've had no spare brain capacity in order for me to focus on it. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
