The following is a plea to the UK contingent of my friendslist, from the kids and in particular Lily...

For some reason, the makers of those two essential products Ferretone and Ferretvite, have decided to stop distributing them in the UK. While I have a stock of Ferretone left and my local petshop still has some in stock, I'm almost out of Ferretvite (a high calorie supplement that Lily in particular is getting regular doses of) and haven't found anywhere yet that still has stock locally.

I know a load of you have pets, so if you happen to be in a pet store and see Ferretvite on sale (it looks like this), I'd appreciate it very much if you could pick some up for me - I'll happily reimburse you for both the cost of the Ferretvite and postage, and the kids will be equally grateful!

I'm trying to avoid having it shipped from the US until absolutely necessary, as they've only just stopped distributing it and it's likely there's some knocking around over here at the moment. But yes, I've seen it on Amazon as well, so I expect they would send it...

I was curious, so I tried it out and apparently the answer to that is 'no'. They don't ship this outside the US. :(

If it comes to it and you need it shipped over, let me know. I make regular runs to the pet stores for this stuff for my own kids. Picking up a few extra is no big deal.

Tried at two pet shops today that I visited, one had never heard of it and the other used to stock it, but didn't any longer.

Sorry, visiting some saddlers and horsey places this next couple of weeks, they often have other stuff so will keep my eyes open.
