graculus: (nanowrimo)
You know, I'd really hoped to get my current Stargate SG-1 fic done and dusted before the end of the month, but considering that it's just broken 10,000 words and we've barely got going, it's not looking like that's going to happen... *sighs*

And meanwhile, talking of November - last call to be on the NaNoWriMo filter. Entry to this filter entitles you to prime whining and moaning about my own masochism in taking on NaNoWriMo when sensible people ought to be writing for challenges instead. Or something. If you're not on the filter, I will probably make a couple of posts through the month with a progress report, but the majority of the mithering will be on filtered posts to protect the innocent and/or easily aggravated.

I've also now watched the latest Numb3rs (much love! much much love!) and Veronica Mars (also much love for poor Logan! *sniff*), so apart from Battlestar Galactica I'm now up to date. Just in time for the new round of episodes to appear... ;)

"Here we go: despite receiving an order for three more episodes on Friday, the Aaron Sorkin NBC drama Studio 60 on Sunset Strip is about to be put out of its misery." [Source]

Last week's figures:
Heroes - 14.3 million; 15% of the prized 18-49 demographic
Studio 60 - 7.7 million; 8% of 18-49

Yep, that's a shedding of pretty much 50% of the lead-in audience, many of whom apparently watched CSI: Miami (viewing figures: 17.5 million) instead... I hate to say 'I told you so', but it's looking like the writing is on the wall.
