Lily update

Just got back from seeing the vet with Lily (and it's a trek but well worth it) - the vet was very pleased with her and felt she was a good candidate for surgery despite her age. His only concern when he was examining her was that her spleen also seems to be a bit enlarged but he won't be able to tell if this is a problem till he operates.

The earliest we could book her in for surgery was October 3rd, unfortunately, as he only does surgery on Tuesdays and is fully booked for next week. It's not ideal for me, as it's the weekend before connotations, but I know the people I board the kids with have had similar situations before. I'll have to let them know she may need to be on her own, I guess...
