Aug. 25th, 2006 05:12 pmThough Asda is my closest supermarket (less than 5 minutes drive, or 15 minutes walk if I'm feeling virtuous) there are lots of things I prefer to buy from other supermarkets - Asda's guacamole, for example, is just vile slop.
However, one thing they seem to do well is ready-made trifle and their chocolate trifle is my particular favourite. It's cream, chocolate mousse and chocolate cake and is utterly nummy. It also makes a big mess when you drop it in the middle of the aisle. Oops! :P
