Feeling a bit more optimistic about Lily now, since she's actually eating (even though it seems to take her forever) and all the evidence points to her starting to respond to the treatment she's getting. Despite my attempts to cajole her into eating chicken paste, which must be easier than the dry food she's currently crunching, she's resistant to my wiles - this is probably psychological punishment for the vile-tasting medication I've been squirting down her throat on a regular basis since Saturday!

Another cold night sees her back in with the boys, who I think miss her. Certainly when I got them all in after I got home from work, Dougal insisted on washing her neck whether she wanted it or not - as pretty much is usual for those two, she just ignores him while he goes on blithely doing whatever it is he intends to do.

So, the positive vibes seem to be working - thanks to everyone for their good wishes! :)
