Things I saw on Amazon today which I know will please people on my friends list:

For ruric there's the dvd release of The Libertine, due out 24th April.

Meanwhile, nakeisha, przed and obelix (among others) will doubtless be swooning over the prospect of Judge John Deed on dvd, even if they'll have to wait till 8th May.

Last, and by no means least, I was entertained to see that Amazon is already advertising volume 1 of Dr Who season 2, when the episodes haven't even aired yet. Due out May 1st, apparently.

I don't know if swooning is quite the word, since I usually spend a good chunk of time during JJD yelling at Deed for being such a dog, but yeah, I've had the disks on my Amazon wishlist for a couple of weeks now, and will totally be ordering it when it's out. Along with the new Sharpe. (Martin Shaw and Sean Bean all at once; my brain shall surely explode from the squee.)

Can't wait for season 2 of Who, either. I'm just hoping CBC is still only going to be a week or so behind the Beeb.
