This morning, for the first time in ages, I just vegetated in bed rather than getting up. And in that drowsy half-waking state I was entertained by my brain spinning an entire fantasy plotline, complete with princes and swordsmen and traitorous lords, which would be fine if I wasn't supposed to be writing other stuff, to which I will need to knuckle down this weekend if I want to get it done before the end of the month.

I know what part of the problem is with my season 5 SG-1 rewrite, at least - I've just reached the point where I need to deal with the whole ascension business and my brain is rapidly back-pedalling from the concept of actually sitting down and watching 'Meridian' even for the plot points I need to structure my alternative outcome of it. Anyone who knows me will probably also not be surprised to hear that I've never seen the episode that follows it ('Revelation', iirc?) or indeed the majority of season 6 - in fact, despite rach74 kindly supplying me with the season 6 Maybourne ep, I just couldn't bring myself to watch it and so it remains unseen.

*thinks* Maybe a transcript would work just as well. ;)

{{{hugs}}} Those are tough episodes to watch. I have seen Revelations and I'm sure you already know that you didn't miss much. I got bored with season 6, so skipped over, but I did go back and watch it all later on, just because I wanted to have seen all of the episodes. I always watch every episode at least twice, but for those...only once, and I don't think I'll watch most of them again, though I did like the three with Daniel.

Good luck with your story. :-) I vote that a transcript would refresh your memory enough. *g*

I certainly don't feel like I missed out on anything, since to my mind an episode without Daniel hasn't really happened... ;)
