Excuse me while I stab all the sickly - not sweet, sickly, like an icky cake with too much sugar and sugary icing and sugar on top - stories generated by CommercialExploitation Day yesterday. None of the characters you're writing about are teenage girls, so somehow I don't think Snape is going to be crying himself to sleep because [insert name of choice] didn't get him a card/present/pair of scary underpants with hearts on them. In fact, he's much more likely to cast an Unforgivable on someone who did, regardless of their standing with him.

*waits for the universe to return to normal*

E.T.A. I should probably say that I am however against the pejorative use of the word 'fluff' to describe anything that doesn't involve death and/or ritual disembowellment. The kind of fic that is currently making me wince (to say the least) bears no resemblance to the fic that is created by anyone on my friends list (or at least not without tongue firmly in cheek), and dementordelta in particular as she seems to have been unfairly beaten with the fluff stick in recent days...
