graculus: (Snape)

It's cold out there, so rather than finally going to see Harry Potter I am consoling myself with fic and prevaricating over my own stuff - added about 2,000 words yesterday to the season 5 rewrite from hell that's been plaguing me for longer than I care to think about, so I think that's good.

Now the big reveal has happened over on [livejournal.com profile] lupin_snape, I need to go through what was posted and see what I want to add to my recs page, prior to any impending re-organisation that may or may not happen over the next couple of days. There's also been a couple of spectacularly good Snape/Harry stories over on [livejournal.com profile] merry_smutmas, which makes up (for me, anyway) for the plethora of Malfoy fic that I am studiously avoiding, though those will have to wait till that particular community reveals all its secrets.

In other news - is it me, or is this year's Christmas tv offerings a bag of shite? There's been a couple of movies I wanted to catch (and I'm not saying which unless someone asks nicely), but apart from those and Dr Who, the pickings are pretty slim. Maybe my tolerance levels for kack are just that much lower this year, or something...

[livejournal.com profile] merry_smutmas did seem a bit... Draco-heavy.

It did indeed, but there were a few gems in there for us Snape-lovers...

No. It's not just you - Christmas TV has been a complete bag of shite bar one or two movies.

Oh good, I was starting to wonder! ;)

How's the cleaning-up coming along?

Though My Family and Other Animals was hilarious.

I remember reading a shedload of those books when I was younger.

Highlights for me have been Toy Story 2 (which never gets old) and Spy Kids (which was entertaining).
