For those three people on my friendslist who are interested, in an attempt to torment persuade myself to get the damn thing finished, I've posted the first 4 chapters of my Chris/Ezra Mag7 story here.

Nice background for Ezra. I'm usually not so fond of an Ezra-centric story, but this intriques me. So many try to redeem Ezra and end up sanctifying him, you have created a strong anti-hero instead. The "Ezra saved Nathan" angle really throws a monkey wrench into the formation of the Seven though, and I wonder how you plan to resolve that, or if you even plan to. Will Ezra be persuaded not to be the "lone sheriff" for his own safety?

A perfect Ezra would be a boring Ezra. That would be a fate worse than death, imo.

And meanwhile at the moment the story has the Five rather than the Seven, because I've not figured out how to get the other two in there without making it obvious I'm shoehorning them in. I'll be resolving some of the issues, I think - you'll have to let me know if you think I've managed to do so! :P

Actually it seemed like three needed weaving in. I realize that Vin had an 'appearance', but I can't imagine what he is doing hanging around town (all other things being equal) without being part of the Seven.
But I look forward to finding out how you will skillfully resolve that issue. ;-)

The others make more of an appearance later in the story, but I'm struggling with JD and Josiah at the moment. We'll see if I come up with any bright ideas about how to get them involved with the action, otherwise it'll have to be the Magnificent Five. ;)

Thanks for your comments, I'm getting there with the rest of it and (fingers crossed) may be able to get it finished this coming weekend...
